The Carer Information and Support Programme is a series of workshops, run over four sessions, for people caring for a family member or friend with dementia. The sessions are designed to provide carers with information and support, and the chance to talk, in a friendly and confidential environment, about your experiences and the impact they're having on you. They'll be run by Alzheimer's Society staff and volunteers.
Topics will include:
- What is dementia?
- How can you support and care for someone with dementia?
- The support services that are available
- Planning for the future
Course Dates:
Session 1 - Tuesday 5th January 2016
Session 2 - Tuesday 12th January 2016
Session 3 - Tuesday 19th January 2016
Session 4 - Tuesday 26th January 2016
All sessions will run between 6pm - 8.30pm

The Stoneygate Baptist Church, 315 London Road, Leicester, LE2 3ND
Please aim to attend all sessions if possible. If you're unable to attend the above dates/times, please register your interest as future groups may be available.
