Could you save money off your energy bills?
Citizens Advice Leicestershire is running a series of Switch & Save Roadshows to help you save money off your energy bills.

Carers Self-Help Group - Leicester

Do you feel you're not listened to? Do you have problems with paperwork linked to caring? Do you have caring issues that you want to talk about with others in a confidential setting? Do you feel you have some skills that might help others - from form-filling to listening?
If you've answered yes to any of these questions the Carers Self-Help Group run by The Carers Centre could be for you.
The group meets at The Carers Centre, Unit 19, Matrix House, 7 Constitution Hill, Leicester, LE1 1PL.

FREE course for carers in Countesthorpe
A new support course for carers is starting in Countesthorpe today - run by The Carers Centre. The FREE course is called Caring with Confidence and it's open to anyone caring for a family member or friend, with any condition.
The course runs over six weeks and you're welcome to go to as many sessions as you can - so don't worry if you've missed the first one today. Simply go along to meet other carers and to get advice and support on all aspects of caring.

Information sessions for carers
The Carers Centre is running a range of information sessions for carers - on a variety of topics including Personal Independence Payments, Wills and Trusts, Carers Assessments, Thinking Ahead, Mental Capacity: Power of Attorney and Deputyship/Court of Protection, Relaxation and how not to avoid it, Carers Rights and open sessions.
