Care for Carers

Looking after the person you care for is naturally very important to you, but are you looking after yourself too? Caring can be very demanding, physically, mentally and emotionally, which in turn, can affect your own health and wellbeing. According to Carers UK, carers are more likely to be in poor health, both physically and mentally, than people without caring responsibilities.

To help, we’ve put together some ideas for how to look after your own health and wellbeing.

At the bottom of the page, you'll also find some support for dealing with things when your caring role comes to an end.
