Carers Support Groups
Our monthly Carers Support Groups are open to anyone looking after an adult 18+ who lives in the county of Leicestershire.
Under the coronavirus restrictions, our groups are currently meeting via Zoom. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, to be reminded of when the groups are on.
As the meetings are online at the moment, there's no need to attend the group in your own district, you can choose whichever one suits you best time-wise.
The groups are relaxed and informal, and guest speakers are often arranged. They usually last around an hour. To get a Zoom access code, please email [email protected]

FAQ:
Can I bring the person I care for?
Our groups are just for carers; that way they are free to open up and be honest about the reality of their caring role.
Can I just drop in and out?
Most of our carers stay for the whole session, especially if there is a guest speaker. We deliberately keep the groups short because we know carers often can't be out too long.
How can I find out what's planned at any particular group?
Keep an eye on our Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, where we put it up a few days in advance, or give us a quick call - 01858 468543!
