Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust are holding a big conversation where they want to bring together patients, carers and staff to have a big conversation about what they can do to ensure that privacy and dignity are embedded in the care they deliver. 

The event is on 16th November from 12.30pm to 4pm at the NSPCC Centre, 3 Gilmour Close, Leicester, LE4 1EZ. The session will be an interactive one involving conversations around the three questions on the invite below, plus a light lunch.

Health Promotion Event - 14 October

The NHS is holding a Health Promotion Event on Saturday 14th October from 12pm to 4pm at Belgrave Health Centre, 52 Brandon Street, Leicester, LE4 6AW.

Go along to find out more about Care Navigators, Latent TB Testing and Flu Immunisation. There'll also be health and wellbeing advice on offer including healthy eating and a fresh fruit stall; exercise sessions; blood testing; and weight and height measurement. Plus advice and information from The Alzheimer's Society, Vista, British Red Cross and the Richmond Fellowship

Balance & Mobility classes starting 1st November

Blaby District Council is launching a rejuvenating exercise programme called Strong and Steady on 1st November - designed to help develop strength and balance. The classes are designed for those over 65, who are concerned about balance and mobility, or feel unsteady on their feet. 

The sessions will be held weekly every Wednesday - from 1st November - at Parish Hall, Kings Drive, Leicester Forest East from 11.15am to 12.15pm. (£3 per session including refreshments).
