If you fancy learning for fun you may be interested in finding out more about Universities of Third Age (U3As).
There are lots of U3As across Leicestershire but what are they exactly?
Well, they're learning cooperatives for people no longer in full time work - set up to give people the chance to learn and find out more about subjects that interest them in small, friendly groups. The idea is to learn for fun, not for qualifications.
U3As aren't just for older people either, there's no lower age limit if you want to join and it's fine if you're working part-time.
Find it hard to get out and about because of caring commitments?
You can also join a U3A online - to find out more visit the Virtual U3A website.
If you're part of a U3A we'd love to hear about your experiences!
