CALL FOR EVIDENCE: Care Quality Commission inspection of local GP Practices

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be inspecting local GP practices from early August 2014, inspecting a random sample of the GP practices in the Leicester Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) area.
The inspection team is keen to hear evidence from local people about the quality and safety of GP services in the area.
There are five main questions that inspectors will always ask:
* Is it safe?
* Is it effective?
* Is it caring?
* Is it responsive to people's needs?
* Is it well-led?
Please send your stories of care or other evidence to [email protected] or call 03000 616161 to speak to someone at the CQC by July 25th 2014.
Please put the name of the GP practice that you are sending information about in the title of the email to help the CQC pass it to the right inspection team.
You can send stories/evidence of high-quality care as well as any concerns you may have.
The CQC will use your information to help the inspection team plan the inspection and what to look for.
