Dementia event in Rutland - 22nd May

Rutland County Council, the Alzheimer’s Society and Dementia Friends are holding an event for Dementia Awareness Week, which runs from 19th to 25th May.

On Wednesday 22nd May, Rutland Carers Team and Rutland’s Dementia Support Worker from the Alzheimer’s Society will be holding an advice and information session for dementia sufferers and their carers at the Congregational Hall drop-in, Congregational Church, High Street, Oakham. Everyone is welcome so why not pop by to show your support!

If you're looking for more events in Rutland, the Memory Lane Café meets in Oakham on the 1st Thursday of every month from 10am to 11.30am in the Community Room at St John’s and St Anne’s, Westgate, Oakham. The café also meets in Uppingham on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Methodist Church opposite Orange Street, Uppingham.
