Do you care for someone with dementia? Want information and support?

The Alzheimer's Society is running a series of workshops run over four sessions, for people caring for a family member or friend with dementia. Known as the Carer Information and Support Programme, the workshops will be an opportunity for you to talk in a friendly and confidential environment about your experiences and the impact they're having on you.          

The workshops are designed to provide carers with information and support. Topics will include:

- What is dementia?
- How can you support and care for someone with dementia?
- Support services available
- Planning for the future

When & Where? 

The course is being held at Gorse Covert Community Centre, Maxwell Drive, Loughborough, LE11 4RZ from Wednesday 12th July as follows: 

Session 1 - Wednesday 12th July 
Session 2 - Wednesday 19th July
Session 3 - Wednesday 26th July 
Session 4 - Wednesday 2nd August 

All sessions will run from 2pm - 4.30pm. 

Who will be there? 

The workshops are run by Alzheimer's Society staff and volunteers for people who care for a family member or friend with dementia. Please aim to attend all sessions if possible. If you're unable to attend the above dates/times, please register your interest as future groups may be available.
