Do you care for someone with dementia?

The Alzheimer's Society is running a Carer Information and Support Programme in Melton Mowbray (CrISP 2) to give carers information and support. The programme has been designed specifically for carers, family members and friends of people who have been living with dementia for some time. It provides an opportunity for you to talk in a friendly and confidential environment about your experiences and the impact they're having on you.

The programme consists of three essential sessions, each lasting two and a half hours, covering the following topics:
•Understanding how dementia progresses
•Living with change as dementia progresses
•Living well as dementia progresses, including occupation and activities.
Course dates
Session 1: Tuesday 1st March
Session 2: Tuesday 8th March
Session 3: Tuesday 15th March
All sessions will run from 10am to 12.30pm at Melton Borough Council, Parkside, Station Approach, Burton Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 1GH.
The sessions will be run by Alzheimer's Society staff and volunteers.
Please aim to attend all sessions if possible. If you're unable to attend the above dates/times, please register your interest as future groups may be available.
