The Big Knits is a small group of ladies who knit for charity. At the moment they are knitting for neo-natal centres (premature babies) in the UK. So far they have knitted two blankets, six hats and 53 pairs of bootees. Anyone is welcome to join the group for a knit and a chat on Tuesdays at the Bassett Centre, Bassett Street, South Wigston, LE18 4PE from 2pm. Tea, coffee, biscuits and wool are provided free.
