Have your say on new Changing Places toilets for Leicestershire

Date: Friday, March 21st 2014
Categories: All Leicestershire

Leicestershire County Council is hoping to get funding for an extra ten Changing Places toilets, which would be installed between April 2014 and March 2017. They are currently asking the public where  they are most likely to be needed and wanted.

Changing Places toilets are larger than standard disabled toilets with extra features and more space to meet the needs of all people with a disability - and their carers. They have room for up to two assistants and have equipment like changing benches, hoists and privacy screens.

To have your say on where you think the new toilets should be installed please take part in the survey on Leicestershire County Council's website by Thursday 17th April. It will take around 5-10 minutes to complete.

To find out more about Changing Places toilets visit www.changing-places.org

If you require the survey in a different format, such as Braille, large print or an alternative language, please call Louisa Whait on 0116 305 0385 or email [email protected]
