You've probably heard lots of news about how benefits and other financial support for carers (and the cared for) are changing.

If you'd like to find out more about the changes, there's a handy guide on the Turn2Us website including details of what's changing and when. Turn2Us is a charity that aims to ensure that people understand and receive the financial help they're entitled to - whist offering general support and advice on personal money matters.

You can also call Turn2Us on a free and confidential helpline open from 8.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday on 0808 802 2000.

To help you find out what financial help you're entitled to and how to get it, here's a list of useful websites to visit.

We'll aim to keep you up to date as and when things change.

Take a look at the DirectGov website for a guide to financial support for carers

Visit the Leicestershire County Council website for information about local sources of financial help and support including Council Tax and Housing Benefits and Grants.

Find out what help you're entitled to on the Turn2Us website with handy online tools including a Benefits Checker and Grants Search
