New way to ‘shop’ for support services

Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council have teamed up to create www.choosemysupport.org.uk - a new website to help people shop for support services.
The website includes help and advice for carers including details of respite care and sitting services available in Leicestershire for example.
The aim of the website is to make it easier for people to find and buy support services which can help them to lead more independent lives, including help around the home; health and wellbeing services; personal support and details of events and activities.
Anyone can use the website to find support services including carers and people with a Personal Budget.
