Date: Thursday, April 3rd 2014
Categories: All Leicestershire

The University of Nottingham has developed a new website to 'Improve Dementia Education and Awareness' (IDEA) www.idea.nottingham.ac.uk

IDEA is an online learning centre designed to improve the care and quality of life of people with dementia. Within the IDEA website, people with dementia and their carers will be able to find information and resources including online courses and a range of audio-visual materials about dementia, its causes, treatment and the care of people affected.

The AT Dementia website may also be of interest as it provides information on Assistive Technology that can help people with dementia live more independently.
