September is Older Persons' Month in Leicestershire and as a result, there are events and activities taking place throughout the county - open to the whole community including older people, carers, families and anyone interested in volunteering with older people.
Older Persons' Month has been an annual event in Leicestershire since 2002 and this year's theme is Independence, Wellbeing and Community.
There are loads of events for you to enjoy from bike rides and walks to social groups and local history talks!
