Margaret, one of our Telephone Befrienders, has been calling one of our carers, also called Margaret (lady in red) for nearly two years but they've never actually met. So imagine their delight when they finally caught up face-to-face at VASL's AGM & Celebrating Volunteers event last Thursday!
Our Telephone Befriender Margaret said:
"It was such a special moment as over the last two years we've developed a relationship and now, to meet, was amazing!"
