World Mental Health Day - Tea & Talk in Leicestershire

Monday 10th October is World Mental Health Day and to mark the occasion Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is holding a 'Tea & Talk' event for anyone affected by mental health, including carers. 

The event will run from 10.30am to 3.00pm at the Involvement Centre, Bradgate Unit, Glenfield Hospital and it'll be a chance to talk about all kinds of issues including maintaining good health and wellbeing, changes to services, local projects and iniatives and how you can get involved in helping to shape mental health services in Leicestershire. 

There'll also be displays and demonstrations including weight and blood pressure checks, hand massage, infection control and guitar music during the afternoon 'soiree'. 

Plus, organisations including the Carers Federation will be there.

10.00am: Registration and coffee

10.30am: Welcome speech

10.40am: Displays – tea and talk

12.30pm: Lunch

1.30pm: Recital – Council for Music in hospitals

2.30pm: Recital continues

3.00pm: Close
