We're thinking of teaming up with the WEA (Workers' Educational Association) to put on a course for carers - to show people how to use online social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Is this something you'd be interested in?
The WEA is the largest voluntary sector provider of adult education in the UK and specialises in putting on friendly, informal, fun courses for adults. We're planning to work with the WEA to develop a course specifically for carers - so that carers can benefit more from using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
As you know, these kind of online sites are a great way to talk to carers not just locally but around the world. However, many of us aren't sure how to use sites like Facebook, or don't really understand how they work.
If you'd be interested in attending a course please feel free to let us know so we can start planning!
We want the course to be practical and useful for carers so it would be great to have your ideas as to how many hours you could spare, how long the course should run for, where it should be held and what it should cover etc.
If you're on a low income there's a good chance you won't have to pay any course fees to study with the WEA and you may be entitled to further financial support. Click here to find out more
