Meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 2:30 - 4pm at Countesthorpe Village Hall. The usual leader is Gurjit. Refreshments are provided and there is lots of free car parking. £1 donation accepted on a voluntary basis.
This group is just for carers, giving them the chance to be honest about their caring roles without feeling inhibited. Why not come along and meet others in similar situations to you in a supportive, friendly environment. Guest speakers are frequently arranged and there is a raffle.

Melton Borough Community Transport

The social car scheme is co-ordinated from Phoenix House and is supported by Leicestershire County council. This service provides transport for people who live within the Melton Borough and have difficulty accessing public transport.
On the scheme volunteers drive their own cars to take people to local appointments, activities and places. The scheme also has one vehicle available to transport wheelchair users

Online support group for working age carers

This online group is aimed at carers of adults 18+ in Leicestershire, who are of working age themselves. You do not have to be in work to attend, just of working age. Occurs on the second Wednesday of each month from 7-8pm.
