We’re moving!
Just to let you all know, VASL and the Support for Carers team are moving on 10th October to 1st Floor, Torch House, Torch Way, Northampton Road, Market Harborough, LE16 9HL.
All of our email addresses and phone numbers will thankfully stay the same - so our move won't change our service to you in any way.
If you'd like to pop in and see us head for the Leisure Centre off Northampton Road, turn left as if going to Two Shires Surgery, and you'll find Torch House a little further down the road.
Torch House is an ideal new home for us and the rest of the VASL team, as it's close to the town centre and other well known organisations and large enough for us to hold events here.

Has your life been touched by dementia?
Book your FREE place at the House of Memories dementia awareness for family carers' workshop on Wednesday 2nd November from 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4.30pm at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester, LE1 7EA.
The workshop is open to carers, family members, friends and community volunteers to help you support you and your loved ones. The aim of the workshop is to help you understand the experience of living with dementia and being a carer - through video stories and the chance to try out the My House of Memories app and take part in dementia-friendly museum activities. The event has been funded by the Department of Health in partnership with National Museums Liverpool and Leicester City Council.

Are you a dementia carer in Lutterworth?
The Lutterworth Share & Care Group (LSCG) are running lots of activities and events for people living with dementia and their carers this autumn including Memory Walks, Coffee Drop-ins, Share & Care trips, Christmas Dinner and the chance to see the Buddy Holly Story at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton.

The Share & Care Group is a social support group for people living with dementia, together with their carers, who live in Lutterworth and the surrounding villages. Meetings are run by professionals and volunteers who are trained to help those suffering from dementia cope better with their condition.
