27 carers enjoyed an afternoon of fun and scrumptious food at our Market Harborough Support for Carers trip to the Blitz Tearooms in Kettering in July, a wonderful 1940's themed tea rooms.

We left Market Harborough in two minibuses and soon got into the 1940's spirit by singing along to songs from the era, chatting and laughing at each other in our headscarves and tommy helmets!

On arrival at the Blitz Tearooms, we were greeted by their friendly staff and served with great big pots of tea and an abundance of beautiful homemade food.

The comments we received from carers throughout the day were all very positive, saying what a wonderful time they we're having, how much the treat was appreciated, and the difference it made to have an afternoon out.

We would like to say a big thank you to Market Harborough & The Bowdens Charity for their generous donation.
