Organisations in Blaby and Oadby and Wigston Districts have got together to organise a special 'Keep Safe Day' event for anyone with a disability plus carers and families.
The aim of the event is to help disabled people stay safe, both at home and when out and about.

Simply go along to Blaby District Social Centre on Leicester Road in Blaby, LE8 4GQ on Thursday 8th September from 9.30am to 4.00pm - you'll find lots of information on staying safe together with free equipment such as panic alarms and property marking pens plus keep safe quizzes, workshops and demonstrations.
In addition, you'll get chance to look around a police car and fire engine (2.00pm to 4.00pm).
Tea and coffee will also be available free of charge.
