Excluded Ltd is a social enterprise based in Leicester that uses music to help people improve their lives in many different ways.
In particular, because the service is mobile and free of charge, Excluded helps people who would find it difficult to access similar services otherwise - making it ideal for both carers and the cared for.
Excluded offers people the chance to write, produce and even distribute their own music. It doesn't matter what type of music you're into either, the social enterprise has helped people create everything from hip hop and reggae to pop, classical and traditional music from different cultures.
Through its experience, Excluded believes that music can have some amazing benefits including helping to raise people's self esteem and motivation whilst stimulating brain activity. For both carers and the cared for, Excluded could help you to develop a new hobby and make new friends for instance.
