Would you like to help improve local services for carers and the cared for?

Leicestershire County Council and the national charity Carers UK are offering carers the chance to get involved in helping to shape and improve local services at two half-day workshops on 26th and 28th September from 10.30am until 1.00pm at the Premier Travel Inn on Braunstone Lane East, Leicester, LE3 2FW.

Carers often have a very clear idea of how local services could be improved and the workshops will help you to develop the skills you need to campaign and get involved in local decision making.

For example, the workshops will offer you an opportunity to explore practical ways in which you can make your views known, and those of other carers, to service providers.

Plus, it'll also give you top tips for getting your voice heard!
